GivingTuesday is Nov. 30, 2021.
Created in 2012 as a day that encourages people to do good, GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity. Giving Tuesday is observed on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving each year.
This GivingTuesday, the Gettysburg Foundation is focusing on the Eternal Light Peace Memorial at Gettysburg National Millitary Park.
Since its dedication in 1938, the Eternal Light Peace Memorial, located on Oak Hill at Gettysburg National Military Park, has been a focal point for visitors to Gettysburg and for soldiers and veterans to gather and reflect. The historic memorial holds a special significance for U.S. veterans and active-duty military personnel.

With our veterans in mind this Veterans Day, we are pleased to announce our GivingTuesday campaign this year will help fund continuing to keep the symbolic flame glowing 'eternally' on the iconic Eternal Light Peace Memorial.
