Summer Used Book Sale

On Saturday and Sunday, June 24 and 25, 2023, the Gettysburg Foundation will have a used book sale in the side yard of Children of Gettysburg 1863®, located at 451 Baltimore Street in downtown Gettysburg, from 10 am. until 2 p.m. Free and open for the public to attend, the book sale offers guests the chance to fill their bookshelf space with numerous Civil War titles available at this summer book sale. Used books covering all aspects of the American Civil War will be on sale at discounted prices for two days only or while supplies last. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Gettysburg Foundation’s education mission.
Book sale shoppers are welcome to visit the children's interactive history museum before or after their time at the book sale. Admission tickets are required for the museum adventure, which is open 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Children of Gettysburg 1863® tells the engaging stories and experiences of children and teens who lived in and near Gettysburg during and after the Battle of Gettysburg. Designed for families and children, grades K-5, the interactive museum adventure takes families on a journey through galleries with interactive exhibits. Admission tickets for the museum are currently free for children/youth ages 12 and younger when accompanied by a ticketed adult.
