Leadership Program Associate

Play an important role in the coordination and implementation of our Higher Ground Leadership at Gettysburg experiences as Leadership Program Associate at the Gettysburg Foundation.

Join us to assist with implementing leadership development programming on the Gettysburg battlefield.

About the Role: As Leadership Program Associate, you will play a vital role in administrative functions; program scheduling, preparation and support; logistics planning; data maintenance; and materials development.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as experience with administrative office functions.
  • Ability to work irregular hours including possible evenings/weekends.

Guest Relations Associate – Part time, Seasonal

Join our mission-driven team dedicated to welcoming visitors and helping them connect with the history, meaning and legacy of Gettysburg.

We are seeking enthusiastic, adaptable and service-oriented individuals to serve as part-time seasonal Guest Relations Associates. Seasonal opportunities are available at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center.

Position Summary
Guest Relations Associates play a key role in shaping the visitor experience. Responsibilities include selling tickets to walk-in guests and reserved groups, assisting visitors with planning and scheduling their visit, promoting our programs and products, and delivering exceptional customer service. Associates also provide support in the theater, museum and Cyclorama areas.

Many of our seasonal team members return year after year, contributing to a welcoming, supportive and enjoyable work environment. These positions are well suited for individuals entering the workforce for the first time, as well as retirees seeking meaningful, people-centered work connected to a nationally significant site.

Custodian – Part time

The Gettysburg Foundation is looking for energetic, flexible, customer service-oriented individuals to join our Custodial Team. Duties include the following:

  • Keep building and property in a clean and orderly condition, performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Scrub, sanitize, supply and maintain restroom facilities.
  • Gather and empty trash and recyclables.
  • Sweep, mop, scrub and vacuum floors.
  • Dust furniture, walls, pictures, ledges and exhibits.
  • Follow established procedures/techniques for use of chemicals.
  • Train new employees of custodial operations and cleaning program.
  • Track incoming and outgoing inventory supplies.
  • Assume responsibility for custodial duties in the absence of regularly assigned custodial staff.
  • Assist the Facilities staff with compendium procedures.
  • Responsible for the opening and/or closing procedures of the facility.
