Preserving Gettysburg Together

As our National Park Service partners return to Gettysburg following the Federal government shutdown, the Gettysburg Foundation reflects on the enduring partnership that supports Gettysburg National Military Park and Eisenhower National Historic Site.

During the federal lapse in appropriations, visitors were still able to experience Gettysburg thanks to your support and our dedicated team of staff and volunteers. Together, we ensured that the stories of this hallowed ground continue to be shared.

Welcoming Our Partners Back

Now, as we welcome back our National Park Service partners and the value they bring to this historic landscape, we are reminded of the strength and importance of our shared mission. Through the generosity of our donors, Friends of Gettysburg and visitors, we remain committed to preserving Gettysburg today for generations to come.

Together, the Work Continues

The work at Gettysburg is never done. As the official nonprofit partner of the National Parks at Gettysburg, the Gettysburg Foundation stands with our community to protect and support these sacred sites for all people, for all time.
