Plan Your Holiday Visit: Museum & Visitor Center Announces Seasonal Hours

As you plan a holiday trip to Gettysburg, the Gettysburg Foundation encourages visitors to take note of seasonal hours for the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center.

The Museum & Visitor Center will close at 1 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025, and will be closed on Christmas Day, Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025, as well as New Year’s Day, Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026.

The facility will reopen at 9 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 26, 2025, and again at 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, 2026, welcoming guests for the remainder of the holiday season and into the new year.

Visitors can find information on battlefield road access, conditions and winter programming by visiting Gettysburg National Military Park online and Eisenhower National Historic Site online.
