Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center Closes on Thanksgiving

Visitors planning a trip to Gettysburg over the Thanksgiving holiday should note that the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025.

The battlefield roads and the grounds at the Eisenhower Farm remain open from sunrise to sunset. Check current hours and updates on the Gettysburg National Military Park website and the Eisenhower National Historic Site website.
Located at 1195 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, the Museum & Visitor Center will reopen Friday, Nov. 28, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering full access to exhibits, tours and special programming. Guests can visit the Friends Desk for information about the Gettysburg Foundation, Friends of Gettysburg memberships and merchandise, as well as the McKenna Foundation Resource Room and on-site shopping and dining.
