Holiday Hours for Children of Gettysburg 1863®

As families plan their holiday visit to Gettysburg, the Gettysburg Foundation announces seasonal hours of operation for its children's interactive history museum for the upcoming holidays. Located at 451 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, inside the historic Rupp HouseTM, Children of Gettysburg 1863® is closed Christmas Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025, Christmas day, Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025, and New Year’s Day, Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026.
Children of Gettysburg 1863® will reopen Friday, Dec. 26, 2025, at Noon after the Christmas holiday closure and Friday, Jan. 2 at Noon in the new year. The children's history museum will continue to observe its winter hours.
