Ticket to the Past—Unforgettable Journeys will begin spring, summer and fall hours March 2, 2023. The new virtual reality experience in the historic Gettysburg Lincoln Railroad StationTM will be open Thursday through Tuesday, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. (closed Wednesdays). Hours are subject to change. Ticket holders for Ticket to the Past—Unforgettable Journeys become immersed in history at the Gettysburg Lincoln Railroad StationTM. Experience virtual reality through the unforgettable journeys of historic figures and learn their connection to the station during and after the Battle of Gettysburg. With the help of virtual reality technology, travel back to 1863 when this railroad station served as a hospital, supply lifeline and presidential arrival platform. Meet some of the railroad station’s unlikely occupants. Hear their stories and discover the extraordinary impact the station made on their lives. Catch a glimpse of our 16th President's arrival for the dedication of the National Cemetery and his iconic Gettysburg Address.
Located at 35 Carlisle Street in downtown Gettysburg, Ticket to the Past–Unforgettable Journeys’ spring through fall hours will be in effect through Nov. 30, 2023.
