Short-term Closure at Eisenhower National Historic Site

Eisenhower National Historic Site announced a full closure of the site for three days, starting Monday, April 24 through Wednesday, April 26, 2023, to construct an expansion of the visitor parking area. (REOPENED EARLY ON APRIL 25) A full closure is necessary to maintain safety standards for visitors and park staff and protect park resources.
During the closure period, the visitor parking lot will be expanded. This work prohibits the use of the existing parking area while the expansion is constructed. The public parking lot construction is scheduled to take three days pending any temporary weather delays or unforeseen circumstances. Only pre-approved groups arriving to the site via shuttle bus remains authorized to visit.
