Convenient Shuttles to the Museum & Visitor Center to Begin Operating

The Gold Line parking shuttle begins circulating Saturday, April 1, 2023. The Gold Line will operate Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
The shuttle bus circulates between parking areas and the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center with service approximately every 30 minutes at each location. The Gold Line will accommodate the alternate parking measures in place during the road construction on Visitor Center Drive and the road closure from the Taneytown Road entrance to the Museum & Visitor Center. Visitors can take advantage of the Gold Line shuttle to and from the Museum & Visitor Center as it circulates between the building and the Hunt Avenue lots and Cemetery lot. The Gold Line fare is free of charge for National Park Service locations with proof of purchase from the Museum & Visitor Center or a National Park Service or Gettysburg Foundation identification.
Visit Rabbit Transit online for other schedules, routes and fares related to the Museum & Visitor Center and Natioanl Park Service locations throughout the spring and summer seasons.
For the best access to the Museum & Visitor Center complex and the information and experiences inside, visitors are advised to follow the instructions provided by the parking attendants at the Museum & Visitor Center while the new temporary parking measures are in place.
The new temporary parking measures are in effect beginning April 1, 2023, through the completion of the road construction project. Up-to-date parking information for the Museum & Visitor Center is available online at nps.gov.gett or GettysburgFoundation.org.
