Gettysburg National Military Park winter programs began Saturday, Jan. 8. The popular Winter Reading Adventures 2022 theme, True Tales & Trailblazers from American History features a new children's book each weekend.
Designed for children ages 4 to 10, Winter Reading Adventures will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturdays in the Museum & Visitor Center from Jan. 8 through Feb. 26, 2022. Out of precaution, the Winter Reading Adventures book reading will be livestreamed only until further notice on the Gettysburg National Military Park Education Facebook page Saturday mornings at 11 a.m.A follow-up activity to do at home will be part of the program.
