The Gettysburg Foundation is pleased to co-sponsor an Adams County Library event at Children of Gettysburg 1863. Families can bring their children to enjoy a relaxing story time in their pajamas around the campfire in the side yard of the new children’s history museum. Pajama Storytime Around the Campfire at Children of Gettysburg 1863 is offered on Tuesdays, June 21, July 19 and Aug. 16, 2022, from 6:30 until 7 p.m.
Stories will be read and campfire songs will be sung at these outdoor events. Siblings and stuffed animals are welcome to attend. Storytime is for all ages, and books will be geared for children in grades K-1.
In the event of inclement weather, storytime will be held inside. The event is free and open to the public.
For more information about summertime programs offered by the Adams County Library, visit adamslibrary.org.
Located at 451 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg, the children's history museum is open prior to the events. Tickets are free for children/youth (ages 0-12) with a ticketed adult (ages 13 and older).
