Holiday Season Community Giving
December 6, 2022
The Gettysburg Foundation team is pleased to give back to our local community in several areas once again this holiday season.

Staff and volunteers of the Gettysburg Foundation were glad to spend the day ringing the bell Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022, at Walmart as part of The Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Campaign that benefits those in need in Adams County..
The Foundation staff also participated in a drive for a wish list of items supporting local families at SCCAP's Adams County Homeless Shelter and the YMCA's Safe Home. In support of our furry friends and local animal rescue organizations, the Foundation staff donated items to the Adams County SPCA and Forever Love Rescue.

Staff members of the Gettysburg Foundation distributed the wish list items on Thursday, Dec. 8.

The Gettysburg Foundation staff members are pleased to again give to our community. The Foundation has worked with The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign the past four holiday seasons. This holiday season marks the fifth year the Foundation's drive has benefitted the Adams County SPCA, our second season benefitting SCCAP and the YMCA Safe Home and our first year providing donations to Forever Love Rescue in Gettysburg.
