The Gettysburg Foundation is grateful for the support of the Civil War Roundtable of Gettysburg for its donation to Children of Gettysburg 1863. At its roundtable meeting on Sept. 22, 2022, Civil War Roundtable of Gettysburg president Bruce Davis presented a check for $500 to the Gettysburg Foundation for its children's history museum that opened in September 2021.

The Civil War Roundtable of Gettysburg is a non profit organization, with its mission to promote and perpetuate the study of the American Civil War, with particular concern for its relationship to Gettysburg and the surrounding area.

Located at 451 Baltimore Street in downtown Gettysburg, Children of Gettysburg 1863 is designed for families and groups with children and youth in grades K-5. Offering visitors a unique, interactive family-friendly adventure, Children of Gettysburg 1863 tells the stories of Gettysburg through the experiences of children, teens and young adults who lived in and around Gettysburg during the 1863 battle.

For hours of operation and timed tickets to experience the museum adventure, call 877-874-2478 or visit GettysburgFoundation.org/Children-of-Gettysburg-1863.
