The Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center, home of the Gettysburg Cyclorama and the Gettysburg Museum of the American Civil War, will begin new winter hours of operation for the month of Jan. 2021.
Consistent with Pennsylvania Governor Wolf’s announcement of additional, temporary COVID-19 protective mitigation measures, prohibiting the operation of in-person businesses in the entertainment industry serving the public within buildings or indoor defined areas, the Museum & Visitor Center is currently closed through Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021. This closure is a precautionary measure to limit the spread of the coronavirus, based on the guidance of state and federal officials. The battlefield remains open and accessible.
The health and well-being of our visitors and community come first, and we look forward to welcoming guests back to the Museum & Visitor Center, scheduled to reopen at 9 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021.
