A 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, the Gettysburg Foundation operates the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center in partnership with the National Park Service. Museum & Visitor Center revenues maintain the facility, the Gettysburg Museum of the American Civil War collections and Gettysburg Cyclorama, and support the Foundation’s mission of education and preservation in support of the Gettysburg National Military Park and Eisenhower National Historic Site.
“The ticket price increase will allow us to maintain the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center operations, continue to preserve the rare artifacts collection in the museum and the iconic cyclorama, as well as continue to support the education and preservation mission of the National Parks at Gettysburg,” said Gettysburg Foundation President and CEO Wayne Motts. "When you visit the Museum & Visitor Center, you are helping to preserve Gettysburg for visitors now and for future generations to experience,” added Motts.

The cost of memberships for the Gettysburg Foundation’s Friends of Gettysburg, which includes annual complimentary admission to the Film, Cyclorama & Museum Experience, will not change with the new pricing structure in October 2021. Family memberships are available with no rate change and are now offering three adults and three children per family.
