Holiday Season Community Giving
December 18, 2021
The Gettysburg Foundation team is giving back to our local community in several areas once again this holiday season.

Gettysburg Foundation staff members volunteered to ring the bell on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at Walmart as part of The Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Campaign that benefits those in need in Adams County, Pa.
The Foundation staff also participated in a drive for a wish list of items benefiting the YWCA Hanover Safe Home, the Adams County SPCA and The Gardens at Gettysburg nursing and rehabilitation facility.
The Gettysburg Foundation distributed the wish list items to The Gardens at Gettysburg and the Adams County SPCA on Thursday, Dec. 16, and to the YWCA Hanover Safe Home on Friday, Dec. 17.

The Gettysburg Foundation staff members are pleased to again give to our community. The Foundation has worked with The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign the past three holiday seasons. This holiday season marks the fourth year the Foundation's drive has benefitted the Adams County SPCA, our second season benefitting The Gardens at Gettysburg and the first year donating to the YWCA Hanover Safe Home.
