Eisenhower National Historic Site announced it resumes on-site public programming for the summer Monday, July 12, 2021, with a series of ranger-guided programs. Tours of the Eisenhower home resume Friday, July 23.
Weekend Home Tour Schedule, Friday-Sunday:
Beginning Friday, July 23, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Eisenhower home tours will depart by shuttle bus only from the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center by ticketed reservation at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the ticket counter, by calling the Gettysburg Foundation at 877-874-2478 or by visiting GettysburgFoundation.org. Shuttle tickets are $9/Adults, $5/Youth (ages 6-12) and free for children (ages 5 and younger).
During these days, access to the site is by shuttle bus only. No private vehicles are permitted on-site. The Labor Day and Columbus Day holidays, Monday, Sept. 6 and Monday, Oct. 11, will operate on the weekend home tour schedule. Tickets are available beginning Monday, July 12, and home tours will run July 23 through Columbus Day.
Consistent with TSA guidelines on public transportation, face coverings/masks are required on the shuttle bus.
Weekday Summer Program Schedule, Monday - Thursday:
From Monday through Thursday, the grounds of the Eisenhower National Historic Site are open from sunrise to sunset. On these weekdays, visitors may drive to the site and follow signs to park in the temporary parking lot.
Ranger guided walking tours of the grounds take place at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting in front of the Eisenhower home. These guided tours consist of a one-hour, outdoor walking tour of the grounds of the Eisenhower farm. Programs are free of charge and open to the public. The weekday summer programming schedule will run through Labor Day.
