MARCH 22 EVENT CANCELED

The National Park Service (NPS) winter programs begin Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020. This year Gettysburg National Military Park is offering both a lecture series and a reading adventures program for children (ages 4 to 10) and their families. These free programs are available at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center located at 1195 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg.

Winter Lecture Series
National Park Service rangers and historians present free hour-long talks that will examine a wide array of subjects related to the American Civil War and Gettysburg history. The lectures are held on Saturdays and Sundays from Jan. 11 through March 22, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. in the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center. Limited seating is available on a first come-first serve basis.

Winter Reading Adventures
The reading adventures begin Saturday, Jan. 4 and continue every Saturday through Feb. 29, 2020. The free programs include Park educators reading aloud and leading an indoor activity or outdoor adventure.
