Gettysburg Cyclorama to Undergo Technical Upgrades

November 14, 2019

The Gettysburg Cyclorama at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center is scheduled to undergo technical upgrades from Monday, Jan. 27 through Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2020.

The upgrades to panels and parts of the AV controllers will include a unit capable of controlling a new, all-LED lighting show for the Cyclorama. The LED lighting upgrade is consistent with Gettysburg Foundation’s goal of keeping its current LEED-Gold designation of the Museum & Visitor Center.

During the Jan. 27-29 upgrades, the Gettysburg Cyclorama show is closed, and tickets are not available for purchase. Visitors can purchase tickets for the Film & Museum Experience Jan. 27-29 at the Museum Experience price. The Cyclorama upgrades are planned to be completed and the full Film, Cyclorama & Museum Experience will be available again on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020.
