August 28, 2019

Gettysburg Foundation today announced the launch of its newly designed website at GettysburgFoundation.org. Designed by iMedia Inc. (Boonton, N.J.), the website offers users rich insights into planning their visit to the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center, the National Park Service’s historic sites in Gettysburg and sites owned and operated by Gettysburg Foundation.
The new site includes features to help visitors plan and create personalized itineraries and purchase tickets to maximize their Gettysburg visit. In addition to a streamlined design and improved functionality for mobile devices, the website offers visitors a chance to learn more about the significance of the historic sites and the stories related to the Battle of Gettysburg and its aftermath. For those interested in joining Gettysburg Foundation in forwarding its preservation and education efforts, the website offers access to the Friends of Gettysburg membership options, volunteer opportunities, special programming and unique discounts.
Visitors can stay informed with the latest on Gettysburg Foundation’s preservation, education and outreach efforts through news, stories and a new blog: Reimagining Gettysburg. Written by Foundation President Matthew C. Moen, Ph.D., the blog features content focused on enhancing the understanding of Gettysburg as a blend of a massive battle, a timeless symbol of healing and an emblem of the greatest democratic experiment the world has ever known.
