Educating a New Generation of Learners at the Rupp House
November 15, 2019
Since the museum opened in 2003, the Rupp House History Center, located in downtown Gettysburg, has been an educational hub for families. The Rupp House tells the civilian stories of Gettysburg—not only of John Rupp and family, but also of neighboring families and children—through interactive exhibits and hands-on displays and activities. With thousands of young hands interacting and loving the exhibits over the years, the displays are showing wear and tear.
This year for #GivingTuesday, a global celebration of joy, hope and generosity, we are asking you to help us renovate the Rupp House to introduce a new generation of learners to the stories of Gettysburg.
