Visitors to the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center have the opportunity to see the Gettysburg Battlefield in a new light and experience iconic Little Round Top as the sun sets over the valley. Sunset Battlefield Tours feature an expert Licensed Battlefield Guide and showcase the history and vistas of Gettysburg’s hallowed ground while riding aboard a double decker bus. With stops throughout the evening, the tour provides an up-close look at the battlefield and typically arrives near Little Round Top in time to appreciate the stunning sunset.
The Sunset Battlefield Tour will run on Saturdays through Oct. 20, 2018. Tours begin at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center and will last approximately two hours. Throughout the season, tour times fluctuate based on sunset. For a complete list of tour dates and times, visit GettysburgFoundation.org.
Tickets for the guided tour are $35 for adults, $21 for ages 6-12, and children under 5 are free. Tickets can be purchased online at GettysburgFoundation.org or by calling the Reservations Department at 877-874-2478.
