Refreshment Saloon | Battlegrounds Café & Grille

Modeled after an actual Civil War-era saloon, the Refreshment Saloon provides leisurely a-la-carte dining.

Enjoy hot and cold food selections along with your favorite made-to-order coffees (lattes, espressos, iced coffee) and bottled beverages at the Battlegrounds Cafe & Grille. Choose from a variety of cold sandwiches, snacks, hot dogs, pizzas and paninis. If you’re looking to soothe your sweet tooth, we feature regional favorites, ice cream and apple dumplings.

For your convenience, order a boxed lunch for your family, small group, or couple, and dine outdoors on our terrace or in the designated picnic areas. Order boxed meals in advance.

Battlegrounds Café & Grille Hours:

Eisenhower Exhibit Spotlight

Introductory Exhibit | Featured in the Museum Lobby

Inspired by the life and career of General and 34th President of the United States, Dwight D. Eisenhower, the Eisenhower Exhibit Spotlight introduces you to President Eisenhower and prepares you for a tour of Eisenhower National Historic Site.

Located in the Museum Lobby at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center, the introductory exhibit is available for visitors to enjoy at no charge.

Then, during fall and winter, you are welcome to drive to the historic site to explore the grounds of the farm and property that was owned by Dwight and Mamie Eisenhower.

The exhibit spotlight is made possible thanks to the generosity of the Pritzker Military Foundation, on behalf of the Pritzker Military Museum & Library.
