Gettysburg Foundation provides a unique educational experience to Pennsylvania students through the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC).
The EITC program enables Pennsylvanian businesses to directly invest in the education of our youth through scholarships and supporting innovative educational practices.
What is EITC?
Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit offers businesses an opportunity to invest a portion of their tax dollars into innovative education programs that directly benefit students through approved educational improvement organizations such as the Gettysburg Foundation. The program provides significant tax savings to businesses, while directly benefitting students and educational organizations.
Why Donate to Gettysburg Foundation?
Through the program, Pennsylvania school districts can visit the Gettysburg Battlefield and take part in Gettysburg Foundation's EITC-approved programming for a better understanding of the causes, issues and lasting significance of the Civil War and the Gettysburg Campaign.
Your generous contributions through the EITC program continue to support these free and low-cost field trips to the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center.
How to Apply.
Pennsylvania businesses can apply for EITC credits through the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development’s electronic single application system.
