Explore the George Spangler Farm & Field Hospital on summer weekends, Battle Anniverary and Independence Day from 10 a.m. until 3:20 p.m. Admission and access to the historic site is via timed shuttles from the Museum & Visitor Center with tickets required through Aug. 14, 2022.

Gettysburg National Military Park and the Gettysburg Foundation will co-sponsor the opening of a new temporary exhibit at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center. A Rough Coarse Life: The World of the Civil War Soldier exhibit opens Friday, July 1, 2022.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 1-3, 2022, visitors to the new interactive adventure for young historians can interact with living historians from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Officers for the Union and Ladies for the Union will encamp in the side yard of Children of Gettysburg 1863.
Purchase tickets to tour the Gettysburg battlefield and experience popular battlefield vistas with a Licensed Battlefield Guide Saturday afternoons in July and Sunday, July 3, 2022. Tours depart at 4 p.m. from the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center.
The Gettysburg Foundation is pleased to co-sponsor an Adams County Library event. Enjoy a relaxing story time in your pajamas around the campfire. Pajama Storytime Around the Campfire is available for families in the side yard of Children of Gettysburg 1863 on Tuesdays, June 21, July 19 and Aug. 16, 2022, from 6:30 until 7 p.m.
Children of Gettysburg 1863 will host a NEW summer program series for children/youth ages 8-12 and their mothers/caregivers on select dates from June 7 through Aug. 14, 2022. Free registration for select historical fiber arts introduction and creation, dates and times is required.
