The David Wills House Opened the 2019 Season



The David Wills House started the 2019 season on March 1. Visit GettysburgFoundation.org to purchase tickets and for details on the David Wills House hours throughout the year.
 
The David Wills House is where President Abraham Lincoln stayed the night before delivering the Gettysburg Address. President Lincoln’s host, local resident David Wills, was instrumental in the creation of the Soldiers’ National Cemetery. Purchase tickets to tour the historic David Wills House, a National Park Service museum experience that tells the stories of Lincoln and the Gettysburg Address and David Wills.
 
Visitors can also walk in President Lincoln's footsteps to the David Wills House, located at 8 Lincoln Square, from the Gettysburg Lincoln Railroad StationTM, where President Lincoln arrived in Gettysburg for the dedication of the Soldiers’ National Cemetery. The Gettysburg Lincoln Railroad StationTM is located at 35 Carlisle Street in downtown Gettysburg. Learn more about the station.
