1:30 p.m.: The American Civil War: Prelude, Conflict, and Aftermath, presented by Heritage Auction Galleries, Dallas, Texas. Landmark live auction of important and original Civil War-era collectibles including photographs, autographs, uniforms, firearms, edged weapons, flags and much more. A number of historic items related to the watershed Battle of Gettysburg will be included. Reception begins at 1:30 p.m., auction begins at 3 p.m. Lot viewing: June 27 (3-7 p.m.), June 28 (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) & June 29 10 a.m.-2 p.m.). A dramatic retelling of Ulysses and Julia Grant in Washington, D.C., on the eve of President Lincoln's assasination. 6 p.m. Historic Church Walking Tour. Visit four historic churches in Gettysburg and hear about events that happened at each during and after the Battle of Gettysburg.
