    Sacred Trust Talks Event Announcement

Gettysburg, PA (January 26, 2017) — Gettysburg Foundation, after much consideration and deliberation, has decided not to hold the Sacred Trust Talks event in 2017. Over the July 1 -3 battle anniversary period, Gettysburg National Military Park provides extensive programming on the battlefield as well as at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center. Gettysburg Foundation encourages visitors to take part in National Park Service programming as well as Gettysburg Foundation offerings at the Rupp House History Center and the George Spangler Farm Civil War Field Hospital Site.

The Foundation takes great pride in the history of success of the Sacred Trust Talks and Book Signing event and looks forward to plans underway, in collaboration with the national parks at Gettysburg, to offer new events for visitors and members.

Once finalized, battle anniversary programs and events will be posted on www.nps.gov/gett and www.gettysburgfoundation.org
