An Evening on The Farm

Hear the true, untold stories of the many wounded soldiers, the hardships of those who treated them and the struggles of the George Spangler family as their home was transformed into a field hospital.

Echoes of History at the George Spangler Farm
Saturday Evenings 8:30 to 9:30 p.m..
Venture into the night with a living historian for a candlelight program on the farm. Experience the extraordinary stories of the men and women who endured the ordeals of a Civil War field hospital.

Please Note

There is no parking on site. Tickets are sold online and at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center. Visitors for the evening programs should park in the Bus and RV Parking Lot, highlighted in red below.

Due to limited space, strollers, wheelchairs and walkers may not be transported on the shuttle. Strollers are available on-site.

If you have limited mobility without the use of a wheelchair or walker, please visit the Ticketing Counter for more information about access.

The terrain at the site includes graveled walkways, uneven grassy areas and unpaved grounds.
